Who Are Alumni and What is Involved?

As a current or former Big Brother, Big Sister, Mentor, employee or Board/Committee volunteer you know what we’re all about. Big Brothers Big Sisters is all about making magic in the lives of young people.

As an adult formerly a Little Sister, Little Brother, or Mentee, we hope someone shared a little magic in your life - perhaps it was in a little way, perhaps in a BIG way!

Together, as Big Brothers Big Sisters Alumni, you can stay connected with us as we continue to grow and change. We have close to one hundred years of history in Canada, it’s time to start bringing everyone together! As alumni, we can form a network for Canada’s youth - today and into the future. As alumni, you will read about the great new things happening at Big Brothers Big Sisters. Having us on your mind regularly may simply help you spread the word about us to your friends, family and colleagues.

There’s no other obligation, but when you hear about a project, event, or activitity of interest to you, we hope that you might consider re-involving yourself for short periods of time!

By building a large group of friends, Little Brothers and Little Sisters will benefit now and in years to come. As the alumni grows, we hope that everyone who’s ever been touched by our work will proudly stand up and say: "I believe that every child who needs a mentor has a mentor!"
