One Child, One Hour Per Week, One BIG Reason to go back to school!

It’s not about homework!  This is a program that takes place at the child’s school, during the school year.  The InSchool mentor spends one hour per week during the school day doing fun activities of mutual interest with the youth in need of a mentor.  We encourage employers to give employees the time during the work day to volunteer…studies show that people who volunteer perform better on the job!  Employers who support this program by allowing their employers to participate:

• Demonstrate leadership in the community by encouraging employees to volunteer as In-School Mentors
• Attract future employees due to enhanced image in the community
• Benefit from the satisfaction, heightened morale, increased loyalty, and improved self esteem of employees who volunteer
• Assist in the development of an educated, skilled workforce for the future
